Mines face a number of scenarios which create regions that are hazardous to personnel. This could be due to blocked ore passes, blocked draw points or areas of unstable ground which are now inaccessible.
The ADR Dropbear has been developed over several years in cooperation with a number of mines which require reliable methods of inspecting such hazardous areas.
In November the ADR team travelled out to Central Australia to test how the Dropbear performed in running a full system trial in an underground mine inspection capacity. We were very happy with the trial and can report a major success!
With this new technology we hope to provide safety through separating personnel from hazardous situations and providing mines with equipment that can provide imagery of the questionable site.
